14k+ Happy Plastic Fighters

“After our training with Plastic Free Cambodia at ISPP, I was interested to share my learning with the children in my local community. I showed them the video about rubbish everywhere in Phnom Penh, all the trash thrown into rivers and ponds. I explained to them how the rubbish impacts us, animals and the environment. After that, I asked them “What can we do?” And they replied that they could reduce their use of plastic. I asked the children how they could take action. They said that they could tell their family and friends. I really am happy to share this with them and that they will now take care and consider the environment in our country and countries around the world.”

“We first heard of Sarah Rhodes and got in touch with her, after reading an article on her speech given on Earth Day 2015. Since HAVEN opened its gates in 2011, we have constantly been working on and improving our sustainability and have put a lot of heart, thought and effort into keeping our ecological footprint small. Meeting Sarah brought us a whole step further regarding the environmental trainings of our HAVEN family. With PFC we have found a dedicated partner who does expert trainings for the whole HAVEN family.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the program designed this way?

The online course has been modified and expanded from our live intro courses (check the services page if you prefer live training). It’s designed to make our knowledge and expertise available to you no matter where you are. As long as you have an internet connection, you’ll be able to access this information. We’ve also included full access to the Plastic Fighters Community on Facebook so that you’ve got a support network of other students and plastic fighters around the world to share ideas with and ask for help.

Can you explain the pricing?

Our programs are a culmination of over half a decade’s hands-on experience. This 8 part course takes our expertise to you in a way that helps you take action without feeling overwhelmed by information. Each online lesson is essentially $20, which is real value for the depth of knowledge that has been poured into each section to help you do more.

Why?

If you’re thinking, “there must be something we can do to slow down this pollution”. Or you’ve done clean up events only to return and find the place a mess again. If you just want some resources and reassurance that you’re doing the right thing, then you’re going to get a lot out of this course. Deepen your learning about the problems and solutions and share them with your workplace and your community.

Is this course good for teachers?

Absolutely! There are many ideas that you’ll be able to use in your classroom. We’ll also send you a certificate of completion at the end with the dedicated learning hours. Be inspired to bring the message into your classroom.

What happens afterwards?

You’ll receive member newsletters to keep you in the loop and up to date on trends, resources and community actions. As well as being a member of the online Plastic Fighter Community. You’ll become one of our alumni members meaning you can continue to learn and share knowledge with us online.

Do you have more courses?

Plastic Fighter Training is the first online course we’ve released, and we’re already working on the next one – Low Waste Living. You can register your interest for the course or let us know of a topic you’re interested in so we can keep providing useful tools and information for you. Just send us an email.
